FUNDED PLACES

FEE CALCULATION

The World Outside offers funded places up to 30 hours per week for children aged 3 and 4 years old.

This is available in the term following the child’s 3rd birthday.

Funding is available for 38 weeks of the year only, to help spread the cost the World Outside will pro rota over the 51 weeks we are open.

Fees will be charged monthly in advance.  Any additional hours taken during the month will be added to the following month's invoice.

It is recommended that your child attends for at least two sessions a week, as this will make it easy for them to settle in, gain confidence as they make friends and become familiar with staff and the routine, though this is not a mandatory requirement.

Funded hours can be shared with another setting.

15 hours funded places

example - A 6 hour session

For 15 hours funded places are calculated by pro rota over the year

38 weeks x 15 hours = 570 hours a year.   570 hours divided by 51 week = 11.18 hours  a week can be used as funded hours

Eg If an child was attending a short day with out funding this would be £38.20

30 hours funded places

example - An 8 hour session

For 30 hours funded places are calculated by pro rota over the year

38 weeks x 30 hours = 1140 hours a year.   1140 hours divided by 51 week = 22.35 hours  a week can be used as funded hours

Eg If an child was attending a long day with out funding this would cost £49.60

We are offer 1, funded 15 hour place without the additional woodland supplement,

Meals and Snacks

The children can bring their own packed lunches and snacks .

On most days we hope that the children will get the opportunity to cook light snacks on the fire for which there will be no extra charge.
